There are even some hints about where players will be able find the gangs, as they’ve set themselves up in locations that only Spider-Man would be able to easily find. It’s actually a pretty clever way to illustrate Spider-Man’s capabilities, as Jonah complains about Spidey’s acrobatic moves and the backpacks hidden throughout the city. Jonah Jameson’s “Just the Facts” and attempt to defend Spidey’s actions in the city. The trailer touches upon that aspect of the game by letting fans listen to Peter “Patterson” call into J. Spider-Man’s alter ego, Peter Parker, does play a role in the game even when he isn’t out trying to protect the city. The trailer also stops by several famous New York buildings and landmarks to offer a taste of what fans can expect to experience when they step into Spidey’s shoes. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Doctor Strange or the Avengers will appear in the game, but it does confirm their existence within this world. Next month, Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man PS4 will give Marvel’s web-slinger a new solo adventure…but he’s not the only hero in town!
